new creation | “silentium” | bolshoi ballet

At the invitation of the Bolshoi Ballet’s director, Makhar Vaziev, I will proudly present my latest creation, “Silentium”, for the opening night of the company’s 245th season on the 10th of September 2020.
For this piece I am teaming up with Alexandar Noshpal (costume designer), Thomas Mika (set designer) and Anton Stikhin (light designer).
The Premiere will be performed by the one and only Svetlana Zakharova, around whom the ballet revolves, and will be joined on stage by the wonderful Jacopo Tissi, Alyona Kavalyova, Igor Tsvirko, Eleonora Sevenard, David Motta Suares, Ana Turazashvili, Denis Savin, Marfa Fyodorova and Kirill Sokolovsky.
This evening will also feature three other creations from three of my fellow choreographers, Simone Valastro, Bryan Arias and Dimo Milev.
This journey has been an incredible adventure and I am honored and blessed to work with such inspirational artists and team.
